Statement Of Belief

Our faith is rooted in the belief that the Bible is the word of Yah (God), and that the original manuscripts are free from error and contradictions. We believe that the Bible is truth, and that it was not written in English, so we study the Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and Latin versions. While we use the KJV for most of our studies, we do not have a "KJV Only" policy and occasionally reference other versions. We believe that outside sources are important for understanding the historical context in which the text is written, but we rely on the Bible alone for matters of salvation and spirituality.
John 16:13
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”
Israel
"I (as many so called African Americans) identify as an Israelite by birth based on my personal research in the DNA Journey Series. To explore the evidence, please watch the video series called Addressing The Evidence. I believe that some descendants of the Biblical Israelites are scattered around the world as a result of slavery, particularly among the Negro population. While not all Ashkenazi can be considered descendants of Israel according to the Bible, historical texts suggest that some Ashkenazi mixed with the Khazars, among whom the sun blacked Tribe of Manasseh resided. Therefore, I believe that some Ashkenazi may be descendants of Israel, but not all."
Regarding the Trinity
We believe that Yah (God) (The Father), Yashua (Jesus) (The Son), and The Holy Ruach (Spirit) are three distinct manifestations/persons of Yah (God), but that they are all one. We believe that Yashua (Jesus) is the Son of Yah (God), that He is Yah (God) in the flesh, and that He died and rose again. We believe that the Holy Ruach (Spirit) is the Comforter sent by Yashua (Jesus) and that it lives within us once we are saved.
We believe that salvation is through grace alone, and that it is available to anyone who confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Yashua (Jesus) was raised from the dead (Romans 10:9-19). We do not believe that salvation is based on race or only for Israelites.
Regarding prophecy, we believe in a rapture-type event, but the timing of it is of no importance for salvation and sharing the Gospel. We follow the commandments and laws not to earn salvation, but because of our salvation, as it is through belief in Yashua (Jesus) that we are redeemed to Yah (God). We avoid violating the law because of the Messiah's teachings and example, which inspire us to avoid sinful behavior.
Romans 6:12-14 12
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto Yah (God), as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto Yah (God).
We believe in community, we strive to be doers of the Word and not just hearers of the Word, putting our faith into action and living out the teachings of the Bible every day. We believe that everything we need for life and Yah (God)liness is found in the Holy Scriptures, and we urge everyone to seek the truth for themselves by studying the Word of YAHUAH diligently.
Denominations
-
I do not believe that denominations were / are sanctioned by God.
-
I believe that denominations cause unnecessary divisions in the body of believers.
-
I believe we are to mark those that cause division in the body and avoid them.
Replacement Theology
-
I do not believe in replacement theology at all.
-
I believe that Israel is Israel and the Church is the Church.
Isaiah 30:21
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
